The Adult Skills Fund provides flexible, funded courses for adults seeking employment entry, initial qualifications, or career transitions. Courses cover English, maths, and digital literacy as well as specialised qualifications for career changes. Available online, classroom-based, or work-integrated, delivered by local colleges, councils, and independent training organisations. TVCA holds the devolved DfE commissioning authority for the Adult Skills Fund in the Tees Valley. Qualification lists are published on the TVCA website and are valid through the academic year (currently 31 July 2026).
