About
WMCA operates a £200 million grant funding pot to unlock housing-led developments and quality placemaking. Schemes must demonstrate market failure as defined by HM Treasury, deliver brownfield remediation within the WMCA area, and include at least 20% affordable homes. WMCA acts as 'funder of last resort' for schemes that cannot proceed without public subsidy.
