Hugging Face for Startups is Hugging Face's in-kind support route for for-profit AI startups worldwide. Hugging Face is a commercial AI platform company, and this program sits inside that stack rather than a traditional research grantmaker. It offers $500 to $100,000 in support, with a median award of $5,000, and it runs rolling. Eligibility is limited to for-profit companies working in AI, machine learning, or open source at roughly TRL 3 to 7. Individuals and nonprofits are excluded, and teams that already took similar support from the same Hugging Face organization are not candidates for another award. It is a platform credit program, not a cash grant. The support package centers on Enterprise Hub credits, Inference Endpoints, and Spaces compute through accelerator partner programs.
