MLSC Pathmaker Program
Offers MLSC Pathmaker Program, supporting MLSC's Pathmaker Program funds Massachusetts training organizations that build career pathways into high-demand.
MLSC's Pathmaker Program funds Massachusetts training organizations that build career pathways into high-demand life sciences jobs. It sits inside the state's MassTalent initiative and is designed to connect career seekers with employers that have direct hiring needs. The program uses grant funding on a rolling basis, and the public record does not publish a standard award size. Career seekers do not need prior scientific work experience or higher education, while training organizations must show at least one industry partnership. That structure keeps the program open to entry-level talent while still tying training to a concrete hiring pathway. Pathmaker is a fit for workforce intermediaries, community-based training providers, and employers looking to shape a pipeline rather than buy a one-off placement. It is especially useful for organizations that can pair classroom training with direct employer demand. MLSC says more than 500 training opportunities have been funded, and applications are currently accepted through the program's normal submission route.
