MBDA Capital Readiness Program (CRP)
Funds programs helping incubators and accelerators in the United States make minority founders ready for investment.
The Capital Readiness Program (CRP) was a $125 million one-time investment funded through the American Rescue Plan Act, awarded to 43 incubators and accelerators across the US. CRP grantees deliver three service tracks to minority and underserved entrepreneurs: Capacity Building (technical assistance curricula), Access to Capital (SSBCI pathways, investor introductions, crowdfunding), and Access to Networks (mentors, coaches, peer cohorts). All 43 awards have been disbursed; this is a closed one-time competition. Post-EO 14238, grant cancellations were contested in litigation (State of Rhode Island v. Trump). Status as of mid-2026 is paused/disrupted for some awardees under ongoing compliance dispute. No new CRP competition is planned.
No upcoming rounds verified. Cadence: One-off.
