MongoDB for Startups is MongoDB, Inc.'s in-kind support program for early software companies in the United States. It sits inside a commercial database platform company rather than a public funder, and it is built for teams that want to use MongoDB's cloud stack while they are still under seven years old and at Series A or earlier. It combines Atlas cloud database credits with Voyage AI tokens, partner credits from Fireworks AI and Temporal, technical support, and a developer support plan that is free for the first 30 days before moving to $49 a month. Applicants need a single scalable software product, an active website and LinkedIn profile, and they must not have been accepted before. Teams can come in through a VC, accelerator, or incubator referral, or apply directly, and responses are expected within five business days. The credit window is structured for active build cycles: founders have 12 months to activate the promo code and another 12 months to use Atlas credits after activation, with extensions considered case by case. That makes the program strongest for startups already shipping software and able to convert platform support into immediate development or deployment work.
