Funds growth stage support for Black led North Carolina startups after earlier startup assistance.
NC BEC GROWTH grants are awarded to Black-led startups that previously received the NC IDEA SEED grant. This is a distinct follow-on program operating under the NC Black Entrepreneurship Council (NC BEC) within NC IDEA. Award amounts, cycle timing, and detailed eligibility (beyond the prerequisite SEED receipt and Black-led founding requirement) are not published on the public NC BEC page; specifics are released in an RFP each cycle.
