NIDCR Research Training & Career Development

NIDCR operates a suite of training and career-development awards aimed at building and diversifying the dental and craniofacial research workforce. Fellowship mechanisms include F30/F31, F32, and the signature F99/K00 dual-degree dentist-scientist predoctoral-to-postdoctoral transition award. Career-development awards include K01, K08, K23, K99/R00, and diversity-focused K awards. Institutional mechanisms include T32 and T90. Most NRSA-based awards require US citizenship or permanent residency.
