National Security Innovation NetworkUnited StatesPrize

NSIN Propel is a 2-month accelerator program for national security-focused startups, run jointly with Decisive Point and hosted at Newlab in Brooklyn Navy Yard. Cohort companies receive resources for product development, access to a network of advisors and investors from military and venture capital, and direct engagement with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and the broader DoD community. NSIN also provides small amounts of 'catalytic funding' to Propel participants — one alumni company noted NSIN catalytic funding triggered a $10M investment round. Alumni from inaugural cohorts secured more than $9.3M in government R&D funding and $45M+ in private capital. The program focuses on startups working on national security challenges spanning Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, joint commands, and DHS.
