Sloan Public Understanding of Science & Technology
Funds books, film, TV, radio, theater, and digital media that build public understanding of science.
Supports books, film, new media, radio, television, theater, YouTube/TikTok, and special initiatives that give the public a keener appreciation for the increasingly scientific and technological world and build bridges between sciences and humanities. Applications follow the foundation's rolling LOI process. The Books sub-area is the one exception that may accept individual applicants — most other Sloan programs disallow individual applicants entirely.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
