Space FloridaFloridaGrant

The International Aerospace Innovation Fund (IAIF) was established by Florida Senate Bill 1516, signed June 17, 2025, and effective July 1, 2025. Administered by Space Florida, the IAIF funds collaborative aerospace R&D, workforce development, and commercialization projects that partner Florida-based aerospace organizations with at least one international aerospace company, university, space agency, or research institute. Focus areas include space exploration, advanced manufacturing, and space infrastructure. The fund is new and its application process was still being established at research time (May 2026). FY26 budget request: $10M for the related 'Aerospace Investment Fund' line (possibly the same fund under an alternate name — sources are ambiguous). Award selection uses a Space Florida-designated panel of aerospace experts and merit-based competitive review.
