Native Initiatives — NACA Program (Financial Assistance + Technical Assistance)
Funds Native community finance organizations with technical support to expand equitable access to capital.
The NACA Program (Native American CDFI Assistance) provides Financial Assistance (FA) and Technical Assistance (TA) to Native CDFIs serving Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. FA awards support Certified Native CDFIs with loans, grants, equity investments, deposits, and credit union shares. TA awards fund capacity-building for Certified Native CDFIs, Emerging Native CDFIs, and Sponsoring Entities creating new Native CDFIs. FY2025 cycle ran jointly with the CDFI Program (January–March 2025 NOFA). The program has awarded over $220 million since inception and delivered 1,600+ hours of training. A Healthy Food Financing Initiative supplement is available to qualifying FA awardees.
