Advancing Discovery to Market (ADM)

Provides proof-of-concept funding for TAMU researchers demonstrating commercial potential of discoveries.

ADM funds TAMU-affiliated researchers to bridge the 'valley of death' by demonstrating commercial potential for recent discoveries. Two tiers: Type 1 (up to $99,000, TRL 2+) and Type 2 ($100,000–$300,000, TRL 3+), both for up to 24 months. Eligible researchers include faculty, staff, and students from TAMU, AgriLife Research, TEES, and TTI; the underlying IP must be owned by or assigned to TAMUS. The program follows a two-stage application: pre-proposal in September, full proposal in December, with awards starting May.
