Funds early university-based startups in the United States with non-dilutive support and laboratory access.
KickStart Venture Services awards up to $50,000 in non-dilutive funding to IP-based, UNC-Chapel Hill faculty-led startups. Award recipients gain access to 7,500 sq ft of on-campus wet lab accelerator and office space in the Genome Sciences Building, alongside coaching, mentoring, investor connections, and grant-writing services. Program is restricted to UNC-Chapel Hill faculty. External founders are not eligible.
