Draper Technology Innovation Fund (TIF)
Provides bridging grants to move inventions toward patenting and licensing readiness at University of Wisconsin.
The Draper Technology Innovation Fund supports additional research needed to bring UW–Madison inventions to the patent and licensing stage. Awards cannot exceed $50,000. The program runs quarterly across FY2027. Key eligibility gate: the invention must already be formally disclosed to WARF and accepted for patenting/licensing before applying.
