Lab-to-Launch provides up to $50,000 in commercialization funding to startups that license technology through the Virginia Fast-Track License process from one of six Virginia R1 universities: University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth University, George Mason University, Old Dominion University, and the College of William & Mary. The Fast-Track License process takes 30–60 days versus the typical 9–12 months. Applicants submit a worksheet and budget template via a Fillout application portal. The program is part of the Commonwealth Commercialization Fund (CCF) umbrella.
