Regional Innovation Fund (RIF)

The Regional Innovation Fund provides grants up to $200,000 to Virginia entrepreneur support organizations (ESOs) including accelerators, incubators, training providers, technology councils, and chambers of commerce. A 1:1 match from non-VIPC sources is required. Performance period is 12 months standard. Proposals accepted year-round on a rolling basis; VIPC targets a 90-day review cycle, with 50% initial disbursement within 30 days of approval.
