Dynamic Resilience

Helps Dynamic Resilience to support identify validate causal biomarkers of health resilience enable reduction frailty progression.

Wellcome LeapCooperative agreement

Dynamic Resilience is a $60M Wellcome Leap program co-funded with Temasek Trust. It focuses on the science of health resilience, meaning the capacity to withstand and recover from biological stressors. The program is active, with Lynne Cox, PhD, directing the work from Oxford. Its agenda is to identify and validate causal measures and models across biological scales, develop predictive biomarkers for clinical decision-making, and run proof-of-concept studies and clinical trials aimed at at least a 25 percent reduction in frailty progression. The program is organized around three thrusts: multimodal biomarker signatures, frailty and resilience mechanisms, and targeted interventions. No open solicitation is visible. This is a fit for teams that can connect longitudinal human cohorts, laboratory models, and clinical translation. The structure favors groups with enough technical breadth to move from measurement to intervention, rather than narrow single-line projects. The co-funding structure also points to a program designed for cross-sector execution rather than a conventional investigator-initiated call.
