XPRIZE Quantum Applications is an active prize competition under the XPRIZE Foundation, running from 2024 to 2027 with Google Quantum AI as title sponsor and GESDA as presenting sponsor. It sits in the foundation's deep-tech portfolio and is open globally for work in health, climate, energy, and materials science. The purse totals $5 million. Phase I is complete and Phase II is active, with seven finalist teams announced in December 2025 from 133 submissions across 31 countries. A Phase II wild-card registration window ran from January 14 to March 4, 2026.
