Cellvane converts whey permeate — a waste stream dairies pay to dispose of — into functional food proteins using engineered yeast strains. One tonne of permeate yields 40kg of protein isolate with a fraction of the emissions of whey concentrate.

Our first strain is in continuous production at a partner dairy in Somerset. The platform is strain-agnostic: the same fermentation and downstream stack

£420k ARR from the first production line. Two additional dairies in contracted pilots. Novel-food dossier submitted to the FSA; EFSA pre-submission meeting completed.
