Voltfern Materials

Voltfern makes a ceramic-polymer composite electrolyte for solid-state batteries. Where sulfide electrolytes crack under cycling stress, our material flexes — retaining 94% capacity after 1,000 full cycles at -20°C to 60°C.

The chemistry came out of five years of work at TU Dresden on ion-conductive ceramics. We license two families of patents from the university and hold three of our own.
