Tesi (Suomen Teollisuussijoitus) is Finland's state-owned investment company, with ownership steering from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. It holds about EUR 3.2 billion in assets under management and deployed EUR 425 million in 2025, focusing on minority equity positions rather than grants.

Its mandate reaches technology, deep tech, clean economy, health and life sciences, industrial-scale projects, and fund investments. The platform reaches AI infrastructure, biotech, climate, defence, energy, hardware, medtech, materials, and manufacturing, with venture capital, growth equity, industrial, direct fund, and KRR growth fund-of-funds routes. The larger equity tickets reach EUR 50 million, and direct fund commitments go up to EUR 15 million.

Tesi operates as a co-investor alongside private professionals and does not take a sole-lead role. Following the 2025 restructuring, it absorbed the Finnish Climate Fund, Business Finland Venture Capital, and Oppiva Invest, which makes it the central state-backed equity channel for Finnish scale-ups and funds.
