Supports Abu Dhabi climate technology startups with mentorship, partnerships, and growth-focused resources through an annual accelerator.

Hub71+ ClimateTech is a sector-specific accelerator programme operated by Hub71, a global tech ecosystem anchored by Mubadala Investment Company and the Abu Dhabi government. The programme targets for-profit climate technology startups and is designed to establish Abu Dhabi as a hub for clean-tech innovation. Cohort 20 applications are open through 2 August 2026, with the 12-month programme commencing February 2027. Applications submitted after the deadline are automatically considered for the subsequent cohort. The selection process runs from June through November 2026 and comprises four stages: application review, meetings with the Hub71 team, evaluation by programme partners, and final committee selection. Hub71 was founded in partnership with institutions including Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi Global Market, Microsoft, and SoftBank Vision Fund, giving portfolio companies direct access to a network of over 150 corporate and government partners. Selected startups receive AED 250,000 in flexible in-kind incentives usable with a range of service providers, AED 250,000 in cash delivered via a SAFE note in exchange for equity, and a conditional top-up of up to AED 250,000 for high-performing startups that commit to Abu Dhabi, requiring an additional equity stake by programme end. The total package reaches up to AED 750,000. Only for-profit startups are eligible; nonprofits, universities, and individuals are excluded. At least one founder is required to commit to long-term relocation to Abu Dhabi and to building a local team. Pitch deck submissions must address the problem, solution, business model, competitive landscape, traction, team background, and Abu Dhabi expansion plans. Founders with strong traction and a credible plan to build a team in Abu Dhabi are best positioned to advance through the committee stage.
