Innovation Booster Grant 2026
Funds WA early-stage founders and startups up to $50,000 to commercialise an innovation.
It's a competitive Western Australian government grant administered by DEED, paying up to $50,000 per project toward the support services and expertise needed to move an innovation forward. Since 2021 the program has awarded just over $6.6 million across almost 200 local projects.
The grant backs early-stage founders, innovation-driven SMEs and startups based in Western Australia who need to refine, test, protect, validate or certify an innovation. It sits inside the state's New Industries and Innovation Fund, with targeted support carved out for regional, female-led and First Nations-founded businesses.
