Completion of the initial Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs)
Funds new Digital Innovation Hubs in Digital Europe Programme-associated countries that have never hosted one before, to round out the EU-wide EDIH network.
This is a single-stage DIGITAL Simple Grant with a €2 million budget, and two grants are expected. Funding covers up to 100% of eligible costs, split 50/50 between the Digital Europe Programme and the Member State, so applicants need a national co-funding commitment.
The call funds new European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) in countries associated with the Digital Europe Programme that haven't yet participated in any earlier EDIH call. Each hub delivers four services — test-before-invest access to experimentation facilities, training and skills development, help finding financing, and networking — mainly to SMEs, mid-caps and public-sector bodies, with a reinforced AI focus. Cross-border hubs serving neighbouring regions in different countries are allowed, with funding split by each country's share.
