This call funds testbeds that move virtual-worlds, immersive and extended-reality technology out of the lab and into real testing in either industrial settings (manufacturing, construction, industrial design) or societal ones (education, cultural heritage, public administration, healthcare). Each testbed must build a network of facilities spanning at least three EU member states or associated countries, and a single proposal can only target one of the two application areas.
