The instrument backs for-profit micro, small and medium health enterprises working in biotech, medtech, digital health or biomarker/diagnostics, provided their innovation has already reached a set maturity level for its sector - for example clinical proof of concept in medtech, or market validation in digital health. Applicants must already have closed a priced equity round of at least EUR 4 million in 2023 or 2024 that included at least one new professional investor.
