Bringing an innovative clean-technology solution from TRL 6 to TRL 8 and close to market readiness in one or more of three areas: integrated net-zero energy systems; enhanced zero-emission power technologies; or storage, renewable fuels and carbon capture and utilisation. Projects can strengthen a specific value chain across energy, manufacturing or transport, including enabling infrastructure, advanced materials, process engineering, resource efficiency, circularity and recycling. They need a clear business case, industrial leadership, quantified competitiveness and greenhouse-gas benefits, and a go/no-go point before contracting and demonstration.
