Building and proving specialised skills, technology (including forensics), and training that let Police Authorities detect, investigate, and respond to crime linked to climate change: environmental crime, resource-scarcity-driven organised crime, climate-migration-linked trafficking, wildlife trafficking, and climate-linked financial crime such as carbon credit fraud. The consortium must include at least 2 Police Authorities, from 2 different countries, as beneficiaries, genuine Social Sciences and Humanities expertise, and is expected to engage the Europol Innovation Lab plus, for the training side of the work, CEPOL.
