This Research and Innovation Action develops and tests trusted future digital travel credentials for travel across the EU’s external borders. Work should cover secure issuance, verification, management and sharing; new biometric modalities and quality standards; interoperability with EU and ICAO formats; emergency credentials; and protection of breeder documents where relevant.
