Some forms of crime and terrorism grow out of cultural or societal conditions that are not covered by the other Horizon Europe security topics. Developing and demonstrating tools, methods, training curricula and awareness work for crime or terrorism-related challenges rooted in cultural or societal factors. Proposals must address a challenge not covered by other Fighting Crime and Terrorism topics, and should combine technological and societal approaches with SSH expertise. They must involve at least 2 Police Authorities and at least 2 Civil Society Organisations or NGOs from at least 3 different EU Member States or Associated Countries, test or validate the results, plan uptake and upscaling, and provide financial support to additional practitioners.
