New primitives and protocols for future hybrid classical-quantum networks
Funds foundational quantum-cryptography research for secure future hybrid networks.
Research may develop quantum primitives with classical equivalents, genuinely new quantum primitives, modular combinations of quantum and classical cryptography, and protocols using entanglement or quantum correlations. Proposals should rigorously compare results with classical-only counterparts, establish formal assumptions and security proofs, analyse composable security and performance, and pro…
This Research and Innovation Action develops new cryptographic primitives and protocols beyond Quantum Key Distribution for future hybrid classical-quantum and quantum networks. Projects should combine quantum information science with real-world applied cryptography, including post-quantum cryptography, to establish secure, practical and scalable trust-based network foundations.
