Strengthen an EU expert network covering all raw materials screened in the 2027 critical raw materials assessment, with expertise spanning primary and secondary resources, production, substitution, markets, future supply and demand, stress tests, materials flows, standards, environmental footprint, socioeconomic analysis and strategic end-use sectors. Update and quality-check factsheets for every screened material, improve the EU knowledge base and official statistics, support the Critical Raw Materials Act, run expert validation workshops in 2029, coordinate strategic-metal workshops, share data with the Commission free of charge and provide a dedicated work package for clustering with related projects.
