Developing and demonstrating integrated renewable-energy, electrification, hybrid heating, energy-management and storage solutions for energy-intensive process industries. Projects should reduce process GHG emissions by at least 20%, address low/medium and high-temperature inputs, manage fluctuating renewable supply, use advanced materials where relevant, and validate technologies at pilot scale in real industrial conditions.
