Virtual Worlds and Web 4.0 will only become useful at scale if Europe builds an ecosystem around them—not just isolated technologies. This coordination action supports the Virtual Worlds Partnership and its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, bringing together academia, RTOs, companies, public actors, end-users and wider stakeholders.

A Coordination and Support Action that strengthens the Virtual Worlds Partnership and updates its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. The action builds an inclusive network across academia, RTOs, industry, public actors and end-users; coordinates regional, national and European initiatives; runs awareness and outreach; supports open, interoperable, safe and ethical solutions; and mobilises stakeholders for standardisation and regulatory alignment. It should involve SSH expertise, directly support the Partnership and coordinate cohesion activities across related actions.
