ScheduledEuropean CommissionEUNorwayIceland

European space missions need critical equipment they can access, trust and re-use without exposure to non-EU export controls or fragile supply chains. This restricted topic funds development projects that mature equipment and technologies needed for EU strategic autonomy.

The selected equipment will be tied to strategic institutional programmes and the EU Observatory of Critical Technologies. Pro

Developing critical space equipment and related technologies to reduce non-EU dependencies, secure unrestricted access for EU missions and build sustainable, resilient supply chains. Projects should mature selected equipment to TRL 6, preferably build the supply chain fully in the EU, reach competitive performance, and show complementarity with national and European space-agency activities.
