Horizon Small-Scale Aquatic Food Communities
Funds two €5M projects to help small-scale fisheries and aquaculture build resilient aquatic-food businesses and stronger local communities.
Small-scale fisheries, recreational fisheries and family-sized aquaculture businesses can keep nutritious aquatic food and jobs close to communities, but many struggle to adopt new technology, reach markets and respond to climate, biodiversity and resource pressures. This topic funds two Innovation Actions to make those activities more sustainable, competitive and useful to local communities.
