Portable and versatile Point-of-care diagnostics
Funds €5–7M projects that make point-of-care diagnostics more portable, versatile, accurate and useful in clinical practice.

This two-stage Innovation Action supports the optimisation and clinical validation of portable and versatile point-of-care diagnostic devices. Proposals must be driven by a clear clinical need and value-based concept, improve sensitivity, selectivity and ease of use, and compare the optimised device with the state of the art. Projects should cover sample-to-answer operation, appropriate quality control, regulatory compliance, environmental footprint, cost and suitability for resource-limited settings.
