Industrial-scale production and use of Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) bio-based chemicals, ingredients and functional materials for home and personal care products, including cosmetics. The project must demonstrate production at TRL 8, apply the solution in market-relevant end-products at TRL 7 or above, and validate an industrial production use case at TRL 6 where relevant. It covers safety and regulatory work, water-pollution and biodegradability testing, end-user and brand-owner input, and links to the European Commission's SSbD framework. Nonwovens, other wipes and packaging are out of scope.
