Sprint Grant for Small Companies
Funds Finnish small companies seeking fast growth in technology through focused commercial acceleration support.
Sprint Grant is a fixed-amount EUR 100,000 grant from Business Finland for small Finnish companies seeking rapid international growth. It launched in March 2026 as a 2026 fixed-term call effectively replacing the paused Tempo and YIC continuous calls.
The grant amount is fixed at EUR 100,000 — not scaled to project costs or matched at a percentage. Applications are processed on a rolling basis from 2 March to 31 August 2026. An advisory appointment with Business Finland must precede the application.
Eligibility: Finnish limited liability companies with fewer than 50 employees, annual turnover or balance sheet under EUR 10 million, at least EUR 50,000 in equity investment, and a minimum team of 2 committed people working in Finland.
Sprint is positioned as a simpler, faster alternative to the multi-criteria Tempo and YIC processes. The goal is to demonstrate solution feasibility and business potential, supporting readiness for follow-on private investment and larger R&D projects.
Small Finnish limited liability companies developing innovative solutions for international markets. Sprint funds bold, impactful development projects that demonstrate solution feasibility and business potential, and prepare the company to raise private investment and pursue larger R&D projects.
