Construction and renovation sites can bring noise, air pollution, dust, litter, waste, soil compaction, water contamination and vibration, affecting ecosystems, biodiversity, workers and everyone nearby. Assess and reduce the environmental, ecological and health effects of construction and renovation sites on natural ecosystems, workers and people living, working or passing nearby. Develop at least two solutions that also address visual impact, validate them with cost-benefit indicators, and produce practical guidance plus a draft European Charter for sound environmental and working-environment management of sites. Use participatory, transdisciplinary and SSH-informed work, reach TRL 4-5 by project end, and allocate at least 0.8% of the budget to the New European Bauhaus hub for results and impact.
