PoCIDIF Action 2.1 - Grants for IT SMEs Developing Digital Innovations

Pays up to €3,000,000 to Romanian IT companies building innovative digital products with AI, IoT, XR, blockchain, robotics or microelectronics.

The grant covers a broad set of costs: industrial research and experimental development, buying IT equipment, software and licences, technical consultancy for innovation, intellectual property protection, market launch of the finished product, specific professional training, and communication and visibility work. Personnel costs for a technical team are eligible too, within the limits set for rese

Action 2.1 backs Romanian SMEs already authorised in the IT sector that are building innovative digital products, applications or services using artificial intelligence, IoT, extended reality, blockchain, robotics or microelectronics. Projects must fit the country's smart-specialisation priorities, including advanced digitalisation, automation, cybersecurity and applied AI.
