The challenge is looking for solutions that improve population risk forecasting, strengthen disease surveillance and early-warning systems, develop low-tech or community-based sensing methods for underserved settings, and enable AI-powered decision support for public health and primary care. It welcomes high-tech, low-tech and human-mediated sensing approaches alike, including apps, AI, wearables, drones and traditional or ancestral knowledge systems.
