In Phase 1 (Prototype Development, October 2026 to March 2027), up to 10 winners each receive a $20,000 prize. The challenge is for anyone building digital health applications that help people with autoimmune diseases track how diet and nutrition affect their immune system health, including patients, caregivers, scientists, dietitians, software developers, and engineers. It follows an earlier NOURISH: Autoimmunity Challenge that identified themes like dietary intervention effectiveness, microbiome and multi-omics mechanisms, and personalized data-driven nutrition.
