Great Lakes Blue Tech Challenge
Awards up to $30,000 in seed funding to freshwater and Great Lakes tech startups.
Entrepreneurs, startups, early-career professionals and college student-led ventures from the U.S. and Canada apply; semi-finalists advance to a pitch round and finalists present at a major industry conference. The top three placings split cash seed funding, plus mentoring and a link to the Freshwater Research & Innovation Center in Traverse City, Michigan.
The challenge wants business solutions to freshwater and Great Lakes issues, including water quality, microplastics, PFAS, marine infrastructure, or other freshwater challenges. It welcomes any stage from concept to working prototype.
