The Commission wants a single Coordination and Support Action that builds a multidisciplinary network on heritage tied to colonial, totalitarian and authoritarian pasts, and produces a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for its preservation, conservation and adaptive reuse. It wants the network to deliver policy recommendations for local authorities and cultural and creative industries on managing this heritage, plus proposals for education and sustainable cultural tourism.
