A Polish organisation leads the consortium as Project Promoter, either a research organisation or an enterprise established in Poland, and the consortium must also include at least one research organisation from Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway; other public or private, commercial or non-commercial partners, including NGOs, from Poland or those three countries can also join. Funding covers only in

Open to any field, technological or in the social sciences and humanities, as long as the project fits at least one EEA Funds priority: Europe's green transition; democracy, rule of law and human rights; or social inclusion and resilience. It favours interdisciplinary, cross-sector projects and civilian-purpose work that also builds leadership skills in early-career researchers.
