Pays research consortiums roughly €3-3.3 million to study what draws and keeps non-EU students, researchers and high-skilled workers in Europe.
This is a single-stage Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action, funded as a lump sum, expected to fund 3 projects from a EUR 10 million budget line, each receiving between EUR 3 million and EUR 3.3 million. The call funds research into which factors — academic quality, career opportunities, wages, quality of life, family reunification support — most influence non-EU students, researchers and high-skilled workers when choosing and staying in an EU destination, including an assessment of how well Talent Partnerships work. Proposals can choose to focus on students, researchers, or high-skilled workers, and should also look at mobilising the professional potential of humanitarian migrants already in the EU.
