The Commission wants a Coordination and Support Action, built on the existing HIPEAC think tank, that delivers an annually updated computing research roadmap covering everything from edge-IoT devices to cloud and HPC, and organises networking events and vision workshops for the European computing community. It expects the roadmap to bridge the Cloud-to-Edge-to-IoT and Ultra Low Power Processor destinations along with the Chips, Smart Networks and HPC Joint Undertakings.
