The Commission wants innovation actions covering one of three areas: AI-driven compliance technology (using NLP, machine learning and analytics to simplify EU reporting obligations), automatic compliance tools for Common European Data Spaces, or the generation and validation of synthetic data to fix gaps, bias or confidentiality problems in real-world datasets. Each proposal must state which single area is its main focus, even if it touches more than one.
